- Pet care businesses that use the Pet Ops platform ("Facilities")
- Staff members authorized by Facilities
- Pet owners who access owner-facing features through our mobile-optimized web interface
Pet Ops provides software only and does not provide pet care services.
2. Information We Collect
a. Account and Contact Information
We may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Login credentials (stored securely)
- Organization and role information
b. Pet and Stay Information
Facilities may input information related to pets and their stays, including:
- Pet name, breed, and photos
- Stay dates and service type (boarding, training, grooming, daycare)
- Staff notes and observations
c. User-Generated Content
The Services allow Facilities to upload content such as:
- Photos and videos of pets
- Written updates or messages
- Internal staff notes

We collect information related to communications sent through the Services, including:
- Messages or updates sent to pet owners
- Acknowledgements or reactions to updates
e. Device and Usage Information
We may automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- IP address
- Log and usage data
f. Push Notification Tokens
If you enable push notifications (coming soon with native mobile apps), we collect device tokens required to deliver notifications. These tokens are used only to send service-related notifications.

We use the collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services
- Authenticate users and manage accounts
- Display pet updates and timelines

We do not sell personal information.
4. AI-Assisted Features
Certain features (coming soon) may use automated or AI-assisted processing to summarize or classify content created by Facilities.
Important notes:
- AI-generated outputs (in development) are assistive only
- They may contain inaccuracies or omissions
- Facilities remain responsible for reviewing and approving any owner-facing content
Pet Ops does not use AI to make decisions about pet care, health, or safety.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information only as necessary to operate the Services, including with:
- Service providers such as cloud hosting, media storage, and push notification services
- Authorized users within a Facility (based on roles and permissions)
- Pet owners, only for content explicitly marked as owner-visible by the Facility
We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as:
- Accounts remain active, or
- Needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes
Retention periods may vary based on account type and subscription plan.
7. Account Deletion and Data Requests
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting:

Upon verified request, we will:
- Delete or anonymize personal information, unless retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes
- Confirm completion of the request
Facilities are responsible for managing pet and owner records within their organization, subject to applicable laws.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information.
However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge and accept this risk when using the Services.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take steps to delete it.
10. International Users
If you access the Services from outside the United States, you acknowledge that information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Material changes will be communicated through the Services or website. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
